Meet your GATE Coach, Mrs. Anne McGovern!
My name is Anne McGovern and I will be the GATE Coach for this year. I have been teaching with Harmony Science Academy for 11 years. I spent most of my years as a classroom teacher in 2nd and 3rd grade, and finally found where I belong in Gifted Education.
I received my undergraduate degree from the University of San Diego in Education with an emphasis on Visual and Performing Arts and my Master's degree in Differentiated Instruction through Concordia University, Texas.
I have four wonderful children, and an awesome husband. I love teaching, reading, and finding cool ways to explore new topics. I want the best for the GT students, so if you have an idea, or a contact that could help us reach our goals, please feel free to share.
